Klyde O'Scope
Chameleon Enthusiast
Ol' Mr. GrumpyPants got some plant table time yesterday, and got himself into a bit of a pickle (not uncommon—he's... adventurous!) He climbed up a Nepenthes to get himself to this position.
It looked like he needed rescuing (as he is wont to do), but after I grabbed the 'rescue stick' he actually got a little farther (and further) into the pickle.
By this time I had to rescue him, because I know from experience he can't hang on to PVC, and was destined to fall.
All ended well. I got him on the stick and returned him to his enclosure, but not before some of the most brilliant deep reds and puffing up (big scary lizard act) I've yet seen. Unfortunately, Missus was otherwise occupied, and I couldn't manage the chameleon on a stick (requiring 2 hands) and the camera (also requiring 2 hands) at the same time.
