so i said goodbye to my popeye arms today, and bought a pesticide sprayer.
wow does it work good. i dont have to get chair to change my dripper,
i just fill it with the sprayer.
it has a nice mist too, so im not really spitting on him.
im very happy with the $9.28 i spent.
maybe all my clothes wont rip because of my ripped arms anymore.

I just bought a pesticide sprayer a couple of weeks ago. So much better than misting. R.I.P. Popeye arms. :(

I bought one a few weeks ago and its awesome but i decided to end all misting issues and get a herp mist. Its worked great though. On a 3/4 full tank with 10 pumps it will mist for a good 5 minutes before needing to be pumped again.

im having so much fun with mine. its weird becuase misting wasnt as much fun as it is now. i get up a when i have to mist i get excited, not depressed. my cham hates it, but he hates getting sprayed anyways.
he gets like 3 mini showers a day, so i think this will help him better with hydration.

I think this person is on tis forum as well as the reptile rooms forum....

He took one of those pump misters and installed a garden water valve. He used a cheap garden valve timer and programmed a couple of misting sesions a day. You could make this whole mister system at home depot in one trip. You just have to pump it up every morning.

I thought about doing one of these and incorporating an air pump so I wouldn't have to hand pump... but I just like to go full auto on everything. It would be pretty easy to tie a pressure switch that turns the pump one when the tank is less than X PSI on off at Y PSI.
