Friendly Grasshopper
My sweet female Quad LiL Foot came to me almost a year ago from a small clutch of very tiny babies. She was with me for the past year and has always been so sweet and the biggest mystery I have ever had sexing a cham.
She had not been eating well, so today I decided to leave work and go grab her a few butterworms as they are her fav, and sneak home to offer a mid day snack. Well when I walked into the room I spotted her right away, laying black and motionless on the floor of her cage. I removed her and she took a last breath and passed. I held her as she changed to a pretty green as they do and said my goodbyes.
I had high hopes of breeding her soon, so loosing her is extra sad.
Her first few days with me, came in at a whopping 2.9g
And the last few pics i have of her from about 2 weeks ago
Even as I post this I have a hard time believing she is gone, she was one of my most photogenic chams and always a joy.
LiL Foot you will be missed and never forgotton,
