My female veiled was showing some nice receptive color for a few days. So today I put her in with my male. And they get alone very nicely!!

How old are your veileds? The females looks very young to mate. I recommend removing her from the males cage ASAP. It is not a good idea at all to keep them together in the same enclosure even if they appear to be getting along at the moment. One could turn on the other at any time.

The female is about 9-month old. I put her in only for a day. And the reason I put her with male is not only the color, but also her behavior toward the boy. Maybe 9 month is still a bit too young but she is in good shape and good weight(91g).

It is not recommended to breed under one year of age and a good weight because their body is still growing and eggs take the calcium from the female that she needs to stay healthy. 91 grams is small for a female veiled. My smallest adult veiled weighed 130 grams and my biggest girl 156 grams.

Thanks for the advice Jannb, I didn't know female veiled can get that big. And for the color, she was bright green with bright yellow/orange dot/strip on her.
