Good place to buy plants?

Where do you buy your plants from? I have a 24x24x48 mesh enclosure on it's way and I'd like to put some nice plants in it. I'm thinking maybe a hanging pothos and schefflera or similar? I can't find any cheap grow lights nearby, so I'm thinking it might be best to just get fairly tolerant indoor plants. Are there any flowering plants that do well indoors?

I cannot recommend a flowering plant, but I buy my plants at Home Depot. They come with a 1 year guarantee and they are economical.

Don't know in NY but I get all my plants at Lowe's or HD and just make sure to wash them well including roots and repot them in organic soil...I am also really liking the bamboo pots that lowes has been having lately.

hibiscus is a good flowering plant thats safe. but hard to keep happy indoors. Mine didn't do well so its taking a break outside to cheer up. You can get them at home depot or lowes.

walmart has pothos, ficas, ferns, umbrella, etc... and cheaper than hd or lowes usually. ;)

I get my plants from Lowes, I am running hibiscus plants, they flower beautifully and I find that the cham. setup is perfect for them, mine flower every day, and they smell great too. One thing worth mentioning, when you go intot he garden section, the larger hibiscus trees are expensive like $40 , but they have really nice shorter more bush like ones (better for us) that fit nicely in 36'' high setups. You can find those for $7 !

Yes I'm very jealous of all your Walmarts! Ours has no garden section. The Lowes is enough of a drive that it would really have to be worth my while going there when we have a pretty decent Home Depot 15 minutes away. I'm also tempted to go to Stew Leonards, they have a huge plant section and the rest of their produce is good quality.

I love my hibiscus, but she didn't love being indoors, so she's outside on the tortoise balcony, where she's much happier, but flowering less, although the tortoises are very appreciative when she drops the blooms!

My orchids thrive indoors, especially in the humidity of a vivarium, but they aren't on the safe plant list, so maybe I'll stick to silk flowers in the enclosure.

Excellent tip, thank you! Are yours indoors or do you swap them or have grow lights on?

I have a giant tree to big for my setups that is outside, I use it when I sit when them outside. Than I have 3 others in my indoor setups, and to be honest with you they flower more than the one outside. For Light's I use 1 Repti glo 5.0 and 1 repti glo 2.0 both 26w, this is what the plant is under, than of course my basking light. Im going to take a picture for you in a few mins

check this out, I paid $7 ea for these.
