Good flowering plants?

Looking for recommendations on good flowering plants for our Jackson's home. I would like to have something that flowers fairly frequently.

Thanks!

what about hibiscus? They are cham safe and if your enclosure is gonna be outside with you being in Hawaii(lucky you) that would work well as they do not do that great without sunshine.

We actually have some beautiful red hibiscus growing in our front yard! We were going to have his enclosure inside; I never thought of putting it outside. We have a nice covered lanai in front, but since it's covered it doesn't really get any direct sunlight. Do you think the UV bulb would provide what it needs to live?

if the cage is not going to get any sun then yes, he will need a uvb bulb. He may not need a basking bulb if your temps are high enough. Could you position so it would get sun part of the day?

Well my husband is going to build a slightly smaller cageto take outside when it's nice and sunny. I would say it averages about 72 degrees in our house, maybe 75 when it's hotter. Do you think the UV bulb is enough to keep the hibiscus alive?

No, mine doesnt do well unless I have a 6500K on it.

Jacksons will need a basking area or 80-85.

Okay, I figured he would need one. And that would be the regular household bulb, correct?

Yes :)
I find that a 60watt works for most of the time, but you may need lower or higher depending on your weather.

Ive read that they are commonly found in hibiscus plants in the wild over there, so I figure they must like them ;)
