My buddy needs to rehome his 2 year old veiled. He would come with the.cham enclosure and lights for $50...should I do it?

yes the animal is in great health he came with everything I needed plus some extra decor...the only issue is his enclosure is way to small...I will get building his new one tomorrow morning...only thing I can think of that it didn't come with would be a mister...any suggestions? all it has now is one of those small flukes drip systems

think about replacing bulbs with known good bulbs. misting can be taken care of with a hand mister. is he providing cycle timers? live plants? pictures of the setup would be helpful... and pictures of the chameleon would also be helpful...

No live plants, on timer, will have to go out tomorrow and get new bulbs. I started on some of the frame work on the new enclosure with the wood I have here. It will be 4ft tall by 3ft wide by 3 deep. Also there is moss in there as of now...should I take that out? I also have a few more decor items I could had I haven't done anything since I got home aside from trying to let him settle...overall I thought for the price was tough to beat and can always sell enclosure to fund more items. Any other tips would be great as well.

I would consider purchasing a linear uv bulb or one of the self balasted uv bulbs(think heat and uv) .... putting a few live plants in the enclosure, i would remove any thing small that he could ingest( until you know how he does with certain items)
there is a thread dedicated to safe live plants,
with a cage that size... do you have hygrometer/ thermo for both upper and lower areas? have you checked out the care sheets yet?
