Goliath Worms

I saved up and bought a cup of hornworms for my reptiles for 14.99 at my local reptile store but it seemed kind of expensive? Did I overpay? Also the worms are very small how long till they grow and what is the calorie equvalent to cricket?

how many worms?
and 15 bucks for one cup seems excessive.
they cna reach 3 inches in less than a week and half.

i dunno what the calorie is. but i feed one or two worms a day to my 1 year old veiled.

there are lot of worms like 30 babies

yeah-- but the store pays for the shipping-- and they have to cover losses on the ones they dont sell (since they grow so quickly). So-- if they are normally priced 8 bucks w/out shipping, expect to pay 16 at a store. Seems like a reasonable retail price to me...

probably why they are soo expensive..they grow like the hulk when angered..i wonder if they can even sell them fast enough at that price tho..??

Yeah my local reptile store

has a monopoly since they drove the only other close reptile store reptile depot out of business ever since then they hiked up their prices on supplies, animals, and feeders yay capitalism!

Sounds like Wal Mart.....

I have a good store near me that competes with Petsmart. My local store just got in a baby male Jacksons today! I might have to go for him if nothing catches my eye at the Colombia SC show.
