My 4 month old Veiled (male, sure because person at pet store said he's a male, and also has the spurs at the back of his feet) climbs down to the bottom of the cage A LOT. Is that okay? I read they mainly stay at the top. He just climbs down, walks around for a minute, and then climbs back up.

Probably searching for food or trying to regulate his boday temperature. Nothing to be too worried about as long as he is eating, drinking, and the temps in his enclosure is good. You should probably post a picture of him just to make sure. He could potentially be a females and more than 4 months old. If thats so she could be searching for a place to lay eggs (fertile or infertile).

Here he is.
