Glass Terrarium Parsons

Very nice. What are the dimensions on that terrarium?

It is actually only a 2x2x4 cage. However as I posted on an older thread the importance of having a cage that makes use of horizontal space not just vertical. He is high enough off the ground he has go a somewhat downward view. Plus the way the branches are arranged he can make his rounds and even descend in the cage.

I would actually prefer the cage to be 5 foot by 30 inches by 30 inches.

The open sides and open floor design I have done successfully long term with captive bred Panthers and Parsons. As the captive bred animals (cb acclimatizing to captivity is easier) seem to not have a problem adjusting to a terrarium without walls or a soil floor.

As for acclimatizing a wild caught animal I would not attempt this approach unless the animal gave me a lot of confidence that it would work (it is more difficult to acclimatize wild caughts). I would make the design as natural as possibly to the point where the chameleon would identify it as something similar home or from where they originally came.
