I can't see the white on his head, where is the white at? I will go back and look. Are you sure it isn't him starting to shed?

It does sound like a shed. When I got Amy at 3 months she shed every month and once she got to 6 months she has been shedding every 3 months. They shed faster and more often as youngsters, and when they reach adulthood they shed in parts rather than a whole body shed and may take several days to do each part. If the skin does not flake off on its own, an extra misting or two will help raise the humidity which will help with the shedding. Don't be tempted to pick bits off as this may damage the new skin underneath.

Okay thankyou :3

Their outer layer is keratin like our fingernails. They shed it when they outgrow it, and the shed may often start in the head and face. But can start just about anywhere on the body. Another thing you may notice in the future is that your cham will suddenly one day look kind of wrinkly in areas. DOn't panic, as this often means a shed is just about to become visible. Also, they often try to "pop" a shed. When they do this they gape hugely with their jaws, swing their head back, and arch their body as if they are having a seizure or a fit of rage. This is their way of trying to break the seal, and lift the shed layer off of their new skin. But if the shed is not visible to you, then seeing your chameleon do this awful act can be scary.

Welcome to chameleon ownership. You will find you worry about someething with them all time, are they eating, pooping, moving, not moving or what ever the way we expect. Just ask and we will try to work it out. When I saw no problem, I thought it was a shed.:)
