Giving medicine..

Sometimes while giving my cham his meds I find it comes out of his nose ? I squirt it directly into his mouth.. Is this something he is doing or me ?

I think you have to put it to the back of his throat, as his windpipe is towards the front of his mouth. If I'm wrong then someone will correct me.

He's only shot it out of his nose 3/8 times but still ... He's not a fan at all

why don't you inject it into a feeder like a silkworm or hornworm. It makes life alot easier.

Any good tips how to do that ? That's a great idea, he would never refuse a hornworm

Do you have a needle syringe? Just hold down the worm and inject the meds into it. It is kinda mean but they are going to die anyways, so what is the difference right? Just make sure when you put the needle in you don't put it into far cause it might just come out the other side of the body and you will lose the medicine. I inject it at the top of the back on an angle. The first time I did it I felt kinda bad, but like I said I am sending them to their death anyways!!.

He's doing better with it now lol he just deals with it... Actually he plays dead and goes limb so I have to open his mouth and do all the work... I feel bad because it seems he's getting less trusting of me when I take him out he comes out all the time with me and is fine but now he's a little squirmy because he knows meds are twice a day.... One more week of it left and I can't wait !!!!

My old male used to have to take meds every day. I injected it into a feeder and only gave him the one medicated one every day so he was always ready to take his meds. It worked a treat and he didn't need to have his mouth forced open and associate me with a bad experience.
