Giddy me

That sweet panther I held the other day, went back to see him and put deposit down. I pick him up Thursday
I'm so giddy and probably won't sleep til he's home.
Of course pictures will be a plenty. Sign said Picasso Panther but was told today he's a blue bar. He's stunning whatever label they give.

Sounds like he is used to being held, that's a good thing

From now on, I will only buy a cham that is used to being held, and has no problems with it.
Color and pedigree have become less important then having them be easy and willing to handle.
That makes taming them soooooo much easier.

I remember your post about the store clerk letting you hold him.

Do you have his cage and stuff ready?

Yes he will be my first and so far I like the name George.
I've purchased cage etc but not set it up yet. Will be doing that tomorrow.
It won't be his forever enclosure that will be after Xmas.
I really believe he chose me as much as me him. He wasn't too impressed when clerk took him off me to put back.
