getting set up

Hey Everybody!
So I have decided that in the next couple of months I will get a 7-8 month old panther chameleon from a breeder that is about 2 hours north from me.
I just had a couple of questions about an enclosure and some opinions.
1. At 7-8 months old can I house him in a 2x2x4 or is that to big/ will I have to get a bigger one later?
2. I am going to build this enclosure because I want to ensure that everything is okay before I make any purchases and I will make sure everything is running smoothly.
3. I was going to buy the zoomed habbamist from LLL reptile and was wondering if anyone has had experience with this system.
4. I was going to put a ficus and a pothos in as well as a bunch of fake vines and such.

Once I finish the plans for the enclosure I will post them so I can get feedback on it before I start construction!:D

Meghan;
A 2x2x4 should be fine for a 7 to 8 month old Panther. I'm not sure about the zoomed habbamist. My daughter and her boyfriend both have the Mist King and love it. Jann

I have used the HabbaMist in the past. I didn't like it at all and it now sits in the garage. It has to be mounted really high in the cage because it only sprays straight. I have just gotten the Mist King system which I love! :)

Yup, we got a HabbaMist, used it for a couple of days and were very unsatisfied with it. We are currently saving for a mistking that will be installed into our new enclosure we are building. Or check out the DIY automist system you can build for under $100 from home depot. The thread is a around here somewhere.

thanks everyone,
i have checked out the DIY automist system thread, it looks kind of complicated
i think i will just get a mist king because it seems like everyone either has a mist king or some awesome home made system
