getting lazy eating habits

I have noticed that my chameleon has been getting lazy when it comes to eating. He seems to only try to stick something with his tongue if it is less then 2 inches from his face. He has been like that for a little while. This last weekish I have noticed that he is now missing his food the majority of the time, even from that close. He shots out his tongue and it mostly goes directly over the prey. He is an ambilobe panther chameleon and eats crickets or worms. Is there something wrong with him?

It could be laziness but it could also be due to nutritional deficiencies. Please go to the Health Clinic subforum and look for the sticky message titled "How to ask for Help". Answer the questions and post them for us. The information will help us figure out whether there's a medical issue or not.
