getting first chameleon

Hey- about to be a new chameleon owner and I'm trying to decide what to get. Looking into panthers, carpets, and flapnecks. Any opinions on these as far as ease of care for a first time chameleon owner? any thoughts/ advice would be appreciated.

Panthers and veileds are the general 'first time' chameleons. They are more forgiving as far as husbandry goes.

ya i would start out with panther of vields....others are way to complicated to "start out with"....vields and panthers ( male) both have amazing color sceems....vields have a "crown" and give off black yellow brown and bright green ....and auqua blue....panthers give off a "rainbow"....but theres many different types of panthers....so color is differnt in each type....visit www.sreameleons.com for panthers....check out www.flchams aswell for all different types... im housing a male vield...hes a beauty
