Getting a Job at PetSmart!

Hey guys so I am getting a job at the Locale PetSmart near me. Yes I know...PetSmart sucks but mine is actually very good! My best friend works there (and I will be working with her) and she and myself have a ton of knowledge in reptiles. Not like most stores who don't know jack. And she is very good in fish which I have to learn...Anyway I am super excited!! I will be a shoe in for the job they just have to interview me to say they interviewed me. WOO! lol

congrats! ive been dying to get a job in the reptile department at my local petco so i can care for the animals properly and educate possible buyers on the proper care, unlike the two dipwads that are currently there, but because ive reported petco so many times for animal abuse, and those two dipwads work full time, they wont hire me

Thank you! I currently work at my Local Pizza Ranch...I hate fast food lol. But yes I totally know what you are talking about, at least I know the different between a UVB bulb and I can explain to you why you should use what lol Annoys the hell out of me that they can't hire someone who knows what to tell people. And that is what I shall do. I have most of the animals that come through mine anyway so that is good and I won't have to rip people off.

I believe you, I had moved into another town with my girlfriend a couple months ago and I applied to 50 different places in the area ( I have good restaurant experience) and did not get one call back so I feel your pain buddy.

Hey, I work at Petco in my area. Only reason I stay is because of the animals, min wage is terrible for a college student. You'll get sick of the rude people soon enough, but its the animals that make your day better.

Yeah my wage will be a dollar more than minimum wage here so I am fine with that. I will be working two jobs. I deal with rude people daily where I work now so that doesn't bother me much, thanks for the heads up though!

Great news I just gave up my sales job too......I bet pizza ranch is better than cold calling selling lottery tickets ....... I was robbing the poor to pay the rich (in the name of charity ). Looking after lizards will be much more fulfilling no matter what the pay
