Happy Holidays folks! Lucky ol' me finally found a herping website with active admins to finalize my account.
So, I want to talk about these crazy suckers. I know of only two captive breeding projects in the US currently. Acquiring wild caught individuals is counter intuitive, but nobody seems to care enough about this rather obscure species. I've read just about everything a person can find about them online, and its underwhelming to say the least. I'd like any tips for handling/taming, feeding, health hazards, sizes, weight or anything from anyone's personal experience in caring for these creatures.
On the surface level, there's not much to be said about such an insignificant little scaled vermin. However, these critters are incredibly quirky and make me burst out laughing almost every day. They've got so much energy and personality, but very little attention!
