Future tail problems?

hey guys,
just wondering what you guys thought about my chameleons tail. I noticed the first day I got him he had a little crimp in his tail. Ive read some things about injured tails potentially being a problem down the road. Ive had him for 2 weeks today. The entire tail is functioning fine as of now. Sorry for the picture quality, best I could get without disturbing him while he sleeps but you can get an idea. (He sleeps in his tree upside down with his tail wrapped around this vine sometimes :) ) Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

If it hasn't started turning black or looking necrotic, then you are probably ok. However, that is not to say that there might be issues down the road, but I think they would have developed already. One member has a Veild with a crimp in the tail named "Kink. He is doing fine. There is no shed stuck on there right??

No, no shed stuck. Just a bit of a crimp lol. He's still a young man, only 5 months. Not sure if he was born this way or if something happened before he came to me.

That member with the cham named kink is me. ;)

As a baby my cham somehow kinked his tail, (thus the name) and now, hes a perfectly healthy and grumpy 3 year old male veiled who has fathered 40 babies, and eats like no tomorrow.

THe kink- worked itself out over time, and hes had no issues with his tail curling, or whipping me in the face when pissed off. :D

As carol said, there is no signs of a wound, or any necrosis, so i would just let it be, and it should straighten itself out in time.
