Furcifer lateralis availability Europe

Hi forum!

I was wondering why Furcifer lateralis is basically impossible to find in Europe..? To my understanding they are abundant in the wild, and I can see here in the forum that a member bought a WC this year. So apparently the species is still being exported. So why cant I find any? Would really like to work with that species.

You may have to ask European chameleon keepers why Furcifer lateralis are not being imported. Furcifer lateralis (and similar species) are most definitely available for export from Madagascar. Europe and North American imports/exports are not the same however, Europe is much closer and convenient for exports from Africa and Madagascar.
