Does anyone here feed their chameleon fruit? I've tried giving him some grapefruit and sl strawberries but he doesn't seem too interested. Just wondering if I should keep trying or lay off the fruit

I think my best suggestion is get fruits low in acids because he/she might enjoy it more and actually eat I leave a lil fruit and collard greens in my Cham cage once a week and sometimes he nibbles on them and sometimes not I would also go for a veriety not just one fruit and I would only leave them in there for a day or two tops cuz then mold comes. And if you want your chameleon to really get the nutrients from the fruit feed it to your feeders duh as crickets Dubia or any sort of worm and then feed the feeders to him he will eat them right up

Great foods to feed the chameleon (and his feeders!) would be collard greens, mustard greens, danelion greens, escarole, endive, dark leafy greens, squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, yams, sweet/bell peppers, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, papaya, etc. oranges are good too, but I wouldn't feed too much citrus directly to the animal. Make sure everything is cut thin enough that it can eat it easily.

My girl.just started eating squash today and lovessss it. I offered it in my hand a little soft chunk and kind of wiggled it and she zapped.it up. Now I need to find more veg and fruits to feed and put a little.bit.of dinofuel on it:D

My Camo loves most friut, Kiwi is his absoute fav tho :D If you cup feed you can try chopping up some friuts and veggies real small and put them in the cup with the crickets your cham may accidently get a pc when shooting for a crickat and realize its good stuff
