So I found the other day about 75 crickets dead, and found maggots that looked like the ones that you get when you buy a fruit fly tube from the pet store for dart frogs and other herps...Well i cleaned the cage out and I still have the fruit flies all over and I swear I thought I got them all...Question is, was this what caused the death of all my crickets? I've only had a couple (5-6 die since I restocked and cleaned the cage) but it seems like whenever i gutload my crickets with spinach, romaine lettace, cantaloupe, and other things I get these annoying pests. Is there anything I can do to avoid this without just using that stupid store bough cricket gutloader crystal gel? I know that in itself is not sufficient...HELP
