Friendly Cham Making Odd Relationships

My boy Waldo is one very friendly, spoiled cham. He gets love everyday. And despite his falling ordeal awhile back, he's made odd friendly relationships. Now before I say anything, please remember that all chams have different personalities. Some are angry and grumpy, don't mess with me attitude. Some are very friendly and want you to know that they are there. Luckily, I have one of the most lovable and friendly Chameleons out there.

So, this morning I left the house to take my son to the bus. I came back to my escape artist hanging onto the cord to Kaylas light fixture on her cage, starting at Kayla. To my surprise as I rushed over to find Kayla hanging out and staring at him to. I watched as they hung out, there was no flaring, no stress marks, just as happy as they could be. He moved on and decided that my head was a better spot to be.

But that's not the first encounter that Waldos come across. He's encountered my beardie who usually hangs out on the TV stand. At first it was all flaring, hissing, puffing, etc. But now they hang out on the TV stand together. Waldo has also encountered my little dog. The first time Waldo met her he bite her on the nose. After that he likes to use her as a easy transportation. Which I have to keep an eye on since I leave the front door open alot.

Yes I realize that it may seem to be impossible due to all the differences etc. But he's likes to be seen. He wants everyone to know that he's there. There's no way in this world I'd let Kayla and Waldo free range together. And this might be the only time they see each other.

Kayla is a panther?

While I don't suggest/recommend it, there are some very experienced keepers that have successfully kept different (chameleon) species together in very, very large free ranges (sometimes including two or more males of the same species.) Olympia did this for a while with a veiled and several male panthers (and maybe a Jackson? I can't remember.)

Thats funny haha!!

I too have a panther (female) who likes to be seen and explore. She can be sitting quite content but as soon as she see's anyone walk in the room she will scratch at the glass to get out. While shes out she has the full room to explore but She will always climb on ti me or my gf. Her favourite place to chill is on someones shoulder. Whilst shes out I always keep an eye on her as she is in the same room as my veiled and this will sound strange but out of her cage and the full room it seems to bw her favourite pkace to go toilet is on top of the veileds cage at the back left corner lol 6 or 7 Times now ive caught her up there doing that  neither of them show stressed colours, hiss or puff up if the come into sight of each other although id never introduce them obviously lol. :D

That's adorable! My male veiled, Chubby, seems to love anything that moves while my female is the complete opposite. My dog is curious about them and just hangs around their cages and watches them.
