do any of you guys free range chams in a screened in back porch? im thinking of converting my screened in back porch to a free ranged enviroment. i live in florida and it would only be for the summer/spring time.

Would i still need heat lamps/UVB bulbs?

Summer and Spring Florida weather sounds like the ultimate cham setup :)

how much light gets through the screen and the ambient temps in the room?

As far as light goes it depends on what part of the day. But I gues most of the day overall. Temps its hard to say at the moment maybe low to high 80's and in the and in the summer mid to high 90's

there are alot of FL people here that keep their chams outside. I would think it would jsut be an issue of set the cage up, run a few "test days" where you have the cage outside and act like your chams are in it when they are inside in their old enclosure, monitor temps/humidity level and if your owrried possibly keep a long UVB tube atop where the cage will be incase you think they arent getting enough sunlight.

Seems like it should work jsut fine for me
