Would this be a good way to free RANGE a cham? I know some string and net can rip out there nails.

Hi, love your thinking. Yes unfortunately, this kind of rope does the same or is even worst. It has good grip for them, but they can eventually penetrate the texture with their nails and get stuck in it. Personally I would knot up some twigs and branches in that rope, so he can use that mostly instead of the rope.
