Im after some advice, I would like to create a free range system for my chameleon that he can use when im in the room, its cant be any thing attached to the wall or roof as i have a full length wardrobe and if he got behind there id never get him back. So i am thinking some kind of wooden base with lots of branches coming off as he loves to explore. Just wanted some ideas or photos of other peoples free range :)

Nice large ficus or other suitable plant, in a large pot works well. Depending on how much space you have. You can get large plastic trays (i used one that was two foot square) got mine from a garden centre. Then sit the pot in that & you can spray/mist the cham & it drips/collects in the tray. I had mine raised up on concrete blocks to make draining the tray easier & make the chameleon feel more comfortable higher up. Sorry don't have any pics though.

Check hobby, craft supply, or home improvement stores for artificial Ficus trees. They can help create a taller free range if you can't find live sturdy potted shrubs large enough. Lay some sort of plastic tarp or vinyl down to catch spray, and arrange a "clump" of potted plants like Schefflera, citrus, etc. clustered around the center Ficus on that. Create climbing routes with natural barked branches or rope. The only thing you may have to attach to the ceiling are lights. The plants will need it even if your cham has other places to bask.
