My wife gave me a veiled chameleon on Christmas. Named it Fred then found out it was a girl a week later, still stuck with the name. Guessing she is about 6-7 months old. Moved her to a XL Reptibreeze yesterday and she has been hiding and was not happy about moving. Been learning a lot from here and have been enjoying Fred.

Hi there welcome to the forum. Get a large bushy weeping fig or umbrella plant to sit on the bottom and fill out the cage more. This will provide more coverage and make her feel more secure. Both of these are veiled safe as well.

I raised one plant and put another larger plant in. I put river rocks on the soil of the plant so she doesn’t try to eat the vermiculite pieces. Hope she gets out of the corner of the cage and feels more comfortable now. Also my wife is going to want to buy more plants since I put hers in the cage 🤣
