Found chameleon in Zambia

Hi all !

I found this chameleon in Zambia - and as you can see in the pictures I picked it up ( looking back I obviously shouldn't have disturbed it)

could you please specify which type it is ?

please note - it was fully black and white both on the tree and on me - and later after placing it back on the tree ; is it because of stress?

Looks like a flap neck (dilepis) but I don't know what specific one.
Looks healthy too!

That looks to be a Chamaeleo dilepis. I would have to consult my literature and possibly other resources to ID/say what sub species out of the many that exist for the Chamaeleon dilepis species.
