normally I am a pretty smart cookie :p but drainage for my floor has me stumped I am taking a small "room" upstairs and making it a 6' X 8' x 6' free range - it has a window - but I can not figure out the drainage for it- it is carpeted , drywall sides - I want to plant the floor- so I know I need a moisture barrier - but I really did not want to pull the carpet this is only for the winter - and I need to walk in/on it - my chams seem devastated losing their huge outdoor cages- so I am making a "outdoor" free range inside - I have the lighting , misting, feeding worked out, as well as how to keep them in it- I am using a 3' smooth wall they can not climb, other than that the room will be open with no door - they seem so sad to not go outside :( everyone tells me my chams are spoiled - I am starting to agree- but the way they sit and look out the windows... I just have to do this for them - and my husband is starting to become suspicious of all the plants I am collecting up there now- if I just run a dripper into a big bucket w/ a screen on top, will that be good enough? I also have to watch the weight of the water/plants/dirt - the mist water I am not to worried about- as it will mostly hit the plants and stay there - its the drippers - more or less, I am making a walk in terrarium - I just don't want a moldy mess
