for my first panther chameleon which breed would u recomend ?

Depends on what colors you like. Ambilobes tend to have lots of colors, east coast locales tend to have more red/yellow/orange/green colors. Nosy be's are blue or green, nosy faly's are blue/green with or without white and red spots, and nosy mitsio's tend to be green/yellow with some blue or red. And of course each animal will have it's own colors and could end up looking way different than it's brothers or sire.

I like east coast locales myself and I don't really like the blue chameleons too much, but to each his own.

ive got a nosy be x sambava as my first panther
think its your personal liking in witch locale u like they all need the same requirements witch ever you get.

My fav are "Blue on Blue Ambanja's" or "True-Blue Nosy Be's". I my self have a True Blue Nosy Be. He is only around 3 months and he is already showing a little blue just like his daddy and both grandpas. Both of his parents were from magnificent True Blue bloodlines. As you may have figured. The types i like are blues. Other than color, the only difference is price. Otherwise they're the same. Go onto a good breeders website and look at the breeding males AKA sires or dads, pick one you like, and go w/ his kids or localle. Below is a good place to look at sires and their localles. just click on the pics and it gives you info on that particular cham.

I think Nosy Mitsio's are the best locale... they are amazing! (there is a guy in the UK who has babies too)

Sambava's are really nice too.

Go look at some falys before you pick up an ambilobe. Of course im a little prejudiced when it comes to panther locales. lol

personally, i would have snapped up that nosy be, but thats just me
