I have a young jackson's chameleon. I actually work at a petstore where i got him, they gave up on him and i brought him home. he has been being treated for 6 months now and they can't keep spending money and have him not making any improvement. he came in this way. He has been to 3 exotics vets and no one really knows what's wrong with him. 1 of the vets he saw was the best in the state. His feet are swollen like balloons, he has a lump on his side and a small lump on his head. he was treated for infection, abcesses, you name it. he literally has a full bag of different meds and treatments that have been used. nothing has helped at all. he eats good, gets around fine, doesn't seem to be in pain, he just looks awful. I just did a little research and got a vitamin supplement high in vitamin A, D3 and calcium, it's worth a shot at this point. i just brought him home on friday, at work they were too cheap to give him the proper set up, he was in a 10 gallon tank, and when i wasn't there no one would mist him. Now that i got him he's in a 24X24X36 cage, plenty of plants, vines, proper uv and heat, fogger system. he's definetly living the life. i have also noticed the swelling in the feet has gone down a very little, and the feet are no longer red. anyone have any ideas for me that may be helpful? thank you for reading my novel here lol
