Foot issue question?

We are new to the chameleon world, about two months in at this point. We’ve gotten all of the husbandry issues corrected within our first two weeks.
Our male veiled is around 6 months old, and we noticed what we thought was shed on his foot. But it’s now looking a bit worse. Haven’t made a vet visit yet as things quickly progressed with covid shortly after. Looking for advice on if this is urgent or not.

I have never seen anything quite like that. Maybe we can help you find a vet. We would need to know what state and nearby major city.

I agree he needs to see a vet. I might be able to help you find a vet with reptile experience if you tell is where you are located.

An online vet got in touch. He said it looks like stuck shed or an old injury. He’s been like that since we brought him home.

Sometime you have to drive a long way for a vet that knows anything about chameleons. My vet was over 4 hours each way until I moved closer to him. Now he’s and hour and a half away.
