Foods for Chameleons

I feed my chameleons crickets and mealworms, both daily but i was wondering if you can feed chams like an human foods.. like fruit or vegetables.. not like the reptile vegetable mix.. i mean lke if i cut up super small apple cubes or something.. something different for them to eat as a snack?

I hand feed my veiled greens such as mustard, turnip, and very seldom kale greens. Best way though is to gutload your insects fresh fruits and veggies.
