Food for my new baby Panther

OK, first-time cham owner here, and I came home kind of unexpectedly with a 4-6 mo old Panther today (wasn't TOTALLY prepared for him yet, just happened to be in the right place at the right time). I bought a box of small crickets to hold him over the next day or two. I am getting ready to order 1/4" crickets and mealworms, and their supplies. I hear silkworms are good as well. Any other suggestionsfor a moderately varied diet?

PS- I have serious issues with roaches (the ony insect I cannot stand), so won't be having those in my house. :(

PPS- Also heard that juvenile chams like fruits and/or veggies, I assume that includes Panthers? Any suggestions as to what kind?

Silkworms are another good choice, and can be fed more often than most other feeders.
I recommend that no one feeder makes more than 40% of your chams diet..
A list of things other than roaches are...
Crickets
Silkworms
Superworms(occasionally is okay, better as a "treat"
Hornworms(can be offered more often than supers, but still as treats. Excellent for hydrating and putting weight on)
house flies
Blue bottle flies(all chams LOVE flies, not very nutritious but they always go for them. Good for breaking hunger strikes imo)
Mantis( chams love these too, but they can be a pain to get them to a size needed for a larger cham, =time consuming insect to raise)
Stick insects
Phoenix worms( will turn to soldier flies, double whammy! :D)

I am sure im forgetting some, and there are others i purposely did not list as they are too small for a cham of that age.

Panthers typically do not eat fruit or veggies, but im sure its not unheard of. May be worth a try...

All insects that are fed off should be properly gut loaded, forum member "sandrachameleon" is the resident gutloading expert and has many blogs on it. I highly recommend following them. :)
