Food for a spayd female

As some of you may know, my girl had a surgery a month ago, a part of it was her getting spayed. She was 60g lighter after it and her appetite noticeably increased ha. She eats like a pig now. If before she would leave some critters to kick about for a while, now she just eats everything. I'm slowing down with feeding now, as she doesn't look like a skeleton anymore.

She is 9 months old, quite a big girl. How much shall I feed her? She's not going to have eggs anymore, so do I feed her like a male?

I think I would, if I were in your shoes. There doesn't seem to be a reason to keep her on a diet anymore, so I would feed her more. Just make sure she doesn't get fat either, but I don't see the problem in feeding her more than you would otherwise.

I would still be careful not to overfeed. Overfeeding can cause health problems. Check out this thread and pay close attention to Alex's post.

yeah I read this thread yesterday, she does get fasting days from time to time and I don't feed her as much as she wants. I wish my baby had such appetite, the wee bugger barely eats recently=(
