Usually people say small, medium, or large, but around here the stores have completely different opinions on what large is. So how many 1 inch crickets to feed a 6 month ambanja panther a day?

I feed 5-10 1" crickets to my 6month old guy a day.

Cheyenne, IMO a 3 week crix is a better description. 1 inch seems a little big for a 6mo.
but maybe Bob(? cant remember if that is his name) is bigger than my ambi's.

I decided on Bojangles, and I'm getting him this weekend! Very, very excited! Hopefully the ficuses get here before him or Karma will be maaaad! Tracking ID will be nice thank you.

His appetite will vary. If you are trying to ration crickets because they only come in certain quantities, I would say 4-6 'head-sized' bugs is a good amount per day.
If you can, allow him to eat as much as he wants, until about 8 months of age. I have a few 6 months olds and some will eat 10-12 or more in a day, and then go 5 days of eating just 3 or 6, then 10 again. It really does vary, and it should based on their appetite. So don't be alarmed if he is not eating sometimes.
Then you can feed him with more of a feeding program like 3 big crix one day, 2 dubias next day, 4 silkworms next day, etc... but yeah for now let him eat however much he can/wants.

Quantity isn't really a problem to get for me, I have rich neighbors with a kid they need babysitting so I can order plenty of crickets, and I'm getting more waxworms since last time I had them setup to turn into moths, and Karma freaking LOVES those things... as long as he doesn't get spoiled and stop eating crickets I'll keep getting him some for treats.

To me "large" is full grown 1" crickets...
My 5 month old Cham will eat them this size, but has trouble and will chew for a bit and have to reposition to swallow.
Because of this i only feed him 1/2" crickets now. He eats 15 of them a day . But i know he would eat more if i offered to him. They can overfeed, so becarefully.
