Fogger ?

So I just bought a fogger for my two jacksons. They are both in heaven right now (and so is my wrist from not hand spraying as much :)) They really do seem to enjoy the fog though. This is my first fogger though. I have a humidifier I usually leave on 24/7, except when i'm cleaning it, for humidity that lets out an invisible stream of air through a small tube I place in their enclosure at the top. I had to remove the humidifer though, not enough outlets, to plug in the fogger.
So do I let the fogger run all night or shut it off like I do the mister? Like i said i left the humidifer on 24/7 and these are jacksons

It's better to shut it off at night. It's safer. Besides, the fogger would need time to "cool down" after being a good 12 hours on

Am just trying one right now I just run my fogger on a timer .I have it set to run 3 times during the day for 20 mins each time

I'd have it of at night but have it turn on half hour before lights up, they love a misting then but I wouldn't worrie to much, I'm in the uk where the humidity is low but with a live plant in my reptibreeze my jacksons are fine, I just keep there viv well sprayed and let it dry of the last couples of hours before lights out

You keep them inside? With that beautiful weather?! :p

You dont want to run any humidifier 24/7.

You dont want to run a hot water humidifier other than in the same room, if you live in a dry area.

Too much humidity will cause respiratory issues.
(the humidity where you live right now is at 65% outside, plenty humid enough for them in between mistings)
I would only run the fogger in the mornings, and evenings, for about an hour or so each time at most. This will replicate morning/evening fog. ;)

You can run it periodically throughout the day if you need to keep humidity up, but youll want things to get dry in the cage in between uses/mistings.

(PS-Ive ran those things 24/7 for months, without damaging them :p)
