yea, this is florida and we do get a lot of rain. like what was said earlier about four months out of the year we dont get much. in the summer it rains almost every single day between 3-6. You need to remember veileds come from a wide range of......ecosystems...(not sure if that is the correct word) where rainfall can be from 4-100 inches anually. also where they live temperatures can vary too. from riversides to high plateaus, and this can greatly affect temperatures. so, i dont think it is hard at all for them to live here in florida. honestly i am surprised there arent more! a couple of years ago my moms friend found a chameleon in her back yard. from the discription she gave me it was a jackson,and I live on the space coast.
