Flexarium vs. Reptarium

These two seem pretty much the same. It seems as thought the flexarium mesh is a little easier to see through. Are they basically the same though? Any pros and cons for either? Thanks in advance.

I'm not a mathamatitionextrordinair...but wouldn't 24x24x48" have the same square footage as the 18x30x48"?

Edit: Are you trying to keep that same 18x30" foot print?

that was awesome! lol! I had to put my glasses on just to read that one! lol!:p:D
Sounds like someone want the larger ground space...?

Fearaffect makes wooden cages in any size you would need. Maybe hit him up and see what the cost of the cage and shipping would be...?

I built my own 24x24x48" timbre and securamesh cage. it was fine for a while, but my cham grew quickly and then it seemed a bit small.
I just moved him into a 30x30x72 flexarium (yes, the phonebooth) and I cant say ive had any issues really.
cons are : hard to see through without supplimentry lighting and zippers a bit of nuisance, otherwise, so far ok.
More importantly, the cham likes it! :)

ye lol, have you got any pics of theat cage? sounds great!:D have you got any plans for the cage? if so could you post them up!

The branch I cut from a tree in my yard because it was threatening to bring down power lines. After I cut it i thought it might be good for my big python to free range on. The xmas tree stand had done its job and was sitting around so I reinstated it.
After an incident with the python and my wife, she refused to allow it anymore.
My cham had it in the yard before I got this enclosure, it was ideal. :)

did you have to clean the branch? sterilise it or somthing?

Well not really, it was a living branch till I cut it, then it sat outside mid summer on concrete in 115f plus temps daily for about 2-3 weeks, baked the crap out of it!
Ofcourse I did inspect it closely before using it and found no holes or bugs of any kind.
I poured boiling water over its length a few times then let it dry again. Just too big to deal with any other way.
We have a steam cleaner that ive used on it a few times, (cricket crap) but Homer hasnt ever shat on it. seems to have a preferance for going down to the cage floor to do the biz!
