Hi, I've read from some thread that the screen mesh of flexarium blocks more uvb than some other aluminium screen cage and some advise to use 10.0 uvb. I'm getting a flexarium 175 gallon in 2 weeks, it's already been shipped. My question is, if I use a UVB 5.0, will it be sufficient for my panther chameleon? If its not, then can I just give him more D3 every month?

Yes less UVB gets through the flexarium material

You can over supplement him/her and they can get D3 poisoning (D3 should only be given 2x a month). In this case it's not a good idea to double or triple dose to compensate. Just replace your 5.0 with a 10.0 and be safe!
