flapneck chameleon hasnt been eating crickets, hes also shedding. coincidence?

Yesterday i put 5 crickets in i think he only ate one and he ate a meal worm out my hand so he only ate 2 things all day. Hes in the middle of shedding is this possibly normal? hes a flapneck chameleon so hes not a big guy. hes around 7 - 9 months old and he eats every other day usually about 5-7 crickets. he only poops once a week or sometimes longer. kinda worried about him, is it possible he doesnt wanna eat crickets cuse he almost always eats the worms outta my hand? dono just thought id see what everyones thinks

Hi! Shedding can cause a decrease in apetite so I wouldn't worry too much. Also meal worms are a bit of a treat item so he might be holding out for them instead of eating his dinner first

yea he loves the worms and i think he knows ill give him one or two a day, bastard! lol but yea i figured hes using all his energy to shed so i was just makin sure hes chillin off little food.
