FL Temps Dropping into the 30's...

Thanks! Never used it....yet...

Redfoots (Only tortoise I haver any experience with...and I am a newbie) eat protein in the wild like dead animal carcass, etc... There are breeders that even feed them dead mice/rats. Mazuri is a good protein feed. I feed it to Ted once a week, soaked in water. He eats 1-2 pellets. I can tell you it is his favorite thing to eat. He will "run" out of his hide for his weekly pellets. On other days I feed 4 days of high calcium greens, and 2 days fruits.

Wow in all actuality how many chams/babies/eggs do you currently have in your current ownership?

LOL-I had to wake up to think about this one! :)

Altogether I have 10 baby Panthers (4 of which ship out on the 4th), 7 baby Pygmies, 3 adult pygmies, a few Panther eggs, 16 adult chams, 1 bearded dragon, 1 crested gecko, 1 redfoot tortoise, 1 Great Dane, 1 Lab/Pit, 1 cockatiel, 2 red eared sliders (Oh! I bet they are cold-gotta go drop the heater in the water!), 2 teen age boy-kids, and the hubby. Plus the daughter and her boyfriend who eat here and do laundry here alot!

As Catherine said, I have a female Veiled and crested Gecko coming-so cages waiting! :D

I will be hosting an Open House in Feb for FL Keepers and anyone else who wants to come on over! :)[/QUOTE]

It didn't get that cold here on the east coast of FL. It was 51 when my hubby got up at 6 this morning and 57 now. I don't keep anybody outside but I don't like the cold.

Juli if you can, have that Open House the last part of Feb. I would love to come see you collection but will be so busy at H&R Block first of Feb. we couldn't even get away on the weekend.
