Anyone have a cheaper option on 5.0 reptisun bulbs than LLL Supply? I can get them for $17.99 from LLL if I buy 6. I need about 15 bulbs in 18" and 24" sizes. So I need a deal it gets kinda pricey when you got that many bulbs to buy. Man, 6 mos sure comes around fast when it comes time to change these things. If yall have a cheaper place to go plz tell me I gotta buy some before the end of Oct.

I got my 4' 5.0 for $14-15 from Amazon.com. It's not a huge difference in price but $3-4 will add up with that many bulbs.

That's all I can help you with. I get my bulbs from whoever has them the cheapest on Amazon and it usually saves me a bit of money. Especially on shipping if I buy several bulbs at once and save them for later.

you can get good dual 48" t8 light fixtures at Lowe's for about $15. it will not save money this time but once you have the 48" fixtures it saves on how many you have to buy.


But Amazon tends to be the least expensive.

Buying that many I would switch 1/2 out a month early. Keep those as spares in case you blow one then you are at least keeping the cost down for that month

At $13.98 with free shipping over $49 that's a really good deal.
Texas: Do you know anybody local with a meter as you can probably get more than 6 months out of a bulb. If you just move their basking spot up an inch or two you might get a year out of a bulb. The caveat here is you need a meter to tell for sure. Meter's are expensive but you only buy them once, bulbs are also expensive and we buy them over and over again.
