Fixture light is this recommended ?

I have a fixture light that needs to be replace cause it's to small for the cage. I went garage sale shopping this morning and found a fixture light for $1.00 so i bought to see if it will work and to save money. All i need is the bulb which i know is alittle price but i am saving $$$ ya know. so anything helps with advice. thanks

Looks to me like it is an 18" T8 fixture.... Should work just fine for a Zoo Med Reptisun 5.0.... BUT since your pictures are small I could be wrong about the size....

As long as it turns the lamp on... should be fine.... See if the housing has a rating on it. I think Zoo Med lamps are like 15w or something... ?

Yes the lamp is technically 17" long when measured... but it is known as an 18" lamp. If you ask someone for a 17" lamp they will be very confused.
