Poor Fisher and Major...Subject to a photoshoot on a cold florida afternoon!

All Fisher wants for Christmas is a girlfriend, and I can literally sit here and watch Major grow before my eyes. He is now 26 grams! :)

Great pics! Fisher is so cute. I really like him. And Major is adorable! He's going to be a big boy! Jann

So Juli I have to ask ... since these are two species that require a lot of water/humidity ... Are you still doing all of your misting by hand?;)
I am, but (as you know) I only have veileds and I feel like I can get away with that.
The water/humidity thing is what has kept me away from the montanes.

They look amazing, btw.

I AM SOOOOO still handmisting! LOL....I have dreams of owning 3 misting systems! :p

Honestly-Florida here lets me get away with alot being so naturally humid. Fisher, Major, and the little Sidestriped are in a different room from the Veileds and Panthers. They all have a 40W basking bulb, and are only getting misted 2X-3X daily just like everyone else.

Speaking of the Sidestriped girl...it has been COLD here in Florida, and so I have the Oustalets in the house and my HUGE female Oustalet is right next to the Silly Sidestriper on the floor. Of course the Oustalet cages are huge, so even on the floor it is half way as tall as the Sidestripers cage is on the stand. That tiny Sidestriper goes down into her Schefflera and teases the Oustalet who of course has her face pressed up against her cage thinking that looks like an excellent meal! This happens daily-that Sidestiped chameleon is actually pretty funny to watch! :p

Thanks for the compliments everyone. When people come over Fischer commands alot of attention-he comes up with some pretty stunning patterns and colors. :)

That sounds hysterical! Your pictures are awesome and I love the black mouth. Veileds have pink mouths.

It has been too cold for even a quick visit to the outdoors for my guys also (Boca Raton). I can't wait to be able to take them outside for awhile and enjoy the sun.

Great looking pictures Juli. Fischer IS such a cutie, I hope that some day soon he finds a nice girl friend ;) Major is getting BIG too in the juvenile stage, like our little CH Melleri Rennigade, they are both well on their way to growing a full sized horn. From what I hear some CH develop it and some don't.
Hopefully today it will break and even exceed 70* with decreased cloud cover so on my day off the crew can go out basking. It has been too long.
I'm assuming it isn't a stressful situation since a partition isn't needed between the Oustalet and Sidestriper?

Generally they are not near each other since one is outside. The sidestriped little girl doesn't seem to be stressed-since she is doing all the teasing, and Emerald just sees her as food! Waiting for the warmth to put the Ousties back outside!
