First shedding

Yeah, my young Ziggy started properly today, I noticed it on his feet last night at lights-out, and when I came back from work at lunch time he looked pretty funny with all the dry skin curing around him from the bottom up. He's 3 months old and it's his first shed since I bought him a few months ago.

Nice colors. He looks relieved to be getting that off
Do you have any tips on handling him. I've had him 3 weeks and hate the fact he's so scared of being held... I know they are terotorial and not to be handled a lot but soon as my hand gets working 4 inches of him he hisses and puffs up.

That is just how chameleons are. Theirs not going to be any changing him. You could try hand feeding to help. Its likely to get worse as he matures, especially with him being a veiled.
