First shed

I go in to check on our little one to make sure he ate and I see this...very dark with white patches. I'm like oh my god what's wrong with him. After I got closer hes shedding! There was no sign of shedding when I fed him a few hours ago, suddenly there's shed! Had no idea they would shed that quickly without warning. Anyway here's a picture of course lol.

How exciting! Just make sure to let them do their thing and don't assist them.

Thanks! Looked like hes got it pretty taken care of mostly. Lol just surprised me. I thought oh lord did he choke on something and turned dark. He was a dark muddy brown when I first went in, he lightened as I got closer.
