First shed!

My boy pickle shed for the first time last week!

So happy he's healthy and growing as he was soo tiny when I first got him at 4 or 5 weeks old.

As far as I believe he's now coming up to 2 months and 1or 2 weeks. Going strong!

How are his urates? Skin shouldn’t be wrinkled like that...

He's urates are fine, they've been completely white.

It was only like that for that one day he was shedding, is this something I should be worried about?

He was misted quite a bit that day (maybe about 5 times, normally is about 3 times) as I was advised this helps them along with the shed, could this have caused the wrinkling?

I have just read that it can be normal for skin to wrinkle when they're about to shed.

Either that or he's severely dehydrated..but his urates are completely white and has shown no signs of dehydration (something I am always on the look out for) and he was mid shed and he bounced back to normal the moment he was done shedding.

He's urates are fine, they've been completely white.

It was only like that for that one day he was shedding, is this something I should be worried about?

If his urates are good then it was probably just the timing of the pic since it was mid shed... he looks fine in the last pic.

I don’t recall any of my babies doing that, but that doesn’t mean it diddnt happen...
