Never had a jackson before this (now i have 2). Had Rex my male for almost 6 weeks now and he has begun to shed. He had shed right before I had picked him up and still had the shed left on top of his head, which i removed. Just wondering though now that he is begining to shed, it is nothing like the way my other chams shed, he is having a hard time or not even trying. My other chams seem to shed in one smooth peice that splits down their side and they move, twist and scratch to try and get it off, where he is sheding with little parts of his skin that look like small patches of dry skin down his tail and back legs. His head, back, stomach and front arms have not shown any signs of shedding yet. This started this morning so i bumped up the humidity from 50% to 80%-90% which I have been trying to maintain all day today while i'm here. I've been spraying him off and letting him dry out a bit which is showing more and more patches each time. Why does it look like he is having sucha hard and long time shedding. My senegal shed in like 30 mins at the most. At this rate it wil take days. Any advice??
