Hello,
I went back to school this past September and unfortunately have been super busy. I also unfortunately has to sell/ rehome & foster my collection. Thankfully my friend was able to foster my deremensis pair, so while I was home for Thanksgiving I decided to swing by and take some pics.
And a bonus pic of his Anolis smallwoidi female.

Beautiful! Maybe I am just having flash backs. some of the unknown chams were the norm back in the day. I am guessing it was due to regulations. I remember a few people working with them years ago. Baby pictures and all.

Nice job in sharing.

When did you take that photo? Mating season should just be over if I remember correctly...the female if mated should be producing eggs that would be laid in a couple of months and hatch around mid June or a bit later. Have they been mated?

Not yet. She just turned about 2 back in September. I'm planning on brumating this winter and possibly mating the spring. Trying to reach out to Bill Strand and get Luis Wiedemann's contact info for tips. Especially with how imfamous they are will getting egg bound. But both will be getting vivaroum upgrades in the next few months too.

Th y aren't the easiest to get to lay eggs for sure. I had an egglaying bin in the cage and a 65 litre rubber made type container full of moist sand. Mine wouldn't lay in the cage container so input her in the big container for a few days and she wouldn't lay. I out her back in her cage and she laid with no problem in the container in there. The eggs were easy to incubate.

The males lips turn reddish when he's in the mood to mate ...like they had lipstick on them!

Yeah I had it over the summer. I keep mine in a glass bio active set up to help with humidity since I live I the North East. I'm hoping that the fact she's grown up, at least with me, with soil and leaf litter her whole time it won't be an issue. Did u pre dig holes or set up a tree root type set up? Also are you still working with them?

Not working with them anymore. I'm in Canada and they come and go it seems.

No plant roots...no predug holes. Washed playsand produced by Kings.
